National Reconciliation Week 27 May – 3 June

Contact pays respect to the Elders past, present and emerging, as they hold the wisdom, memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the nation.

National Reconciliation Week (27 May until 3 June 2018) encourages all Australians to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories and to share that knowledge and help us grow as a nation.

Greater understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures can develop an enriched appreciation of Australia’s cultural heritage and reconciliation.
