Contact recently provided evidence within the NSW Legislative Assembly Committee on Community Services inquiry processes for parents and their new babies in NSW.

Our evidence to this inquiry specifically focused on Contact’s 39 year history of working within isolated contexts and the critical importance of recognising the unique needs of rural and remote areas

We applaud the NSW Government’s commitment to improve physical and mental health and child protection outcomes for families with new babies and look forward to the resulting Legislative Assembly Committee on Community Services inquiry findings and recommendations. To learn more
